Today I walked from one side of the campus to the other, in a pengalum-like motion as I went to five classes back to back. My blader was about to explode by the time I got out of scuba diving.
Oh yeah, scuba diving.
It was interesting. It is taught by three kinda professors hired by the school from a local scuba shop. They all seem like friends to the point of family. It was wonderful to watch. The main professor seems like a sweet, kind old man. The other is a grampy old man who doesn't seem to take any crap. And the theird is a nice older lady who seems to hold them all together. I think that class will be a lot of fun, as long as I don't freeze to death.
My other classes were nice too. I wrote a longer poem today that is a little closer to my heart in creative writing. I think I'm going to hold off from posting it till I get a few more eyes on it. In media arts writing, we learned a lot about writing for media arts. More specifically, screenwriting. Lots of fun, and it really gets my noodle thinking. In podcasting, we took a quick overview of the place radio and audio media have in society today, spoiler, more than you think. In comic studies, we really got into the niddy griddy of what makes a comic and the social connotations suronding the mediam. And that brings us then back to sucba diving.
A day full of brain exercises and note-taking. A day well spent. A day that is now over.
I hope your day was well spent aswell.
Goodnight friends,
Calvin Landreth
