Its monday! And you know what that means. I'm back. And it's late. Can I tell you a little secret, my dear reader? Yes? Well, this semester is not killing me, but it sure is keeping me on the edge. I thought I ran my days like a pocket watch last semester. Carefully planned and executed to try to do everything I could and still have some me time here and there. Well, if last semester was a pocket watch, this semester is a broken pocket watch I'm continuously trying to keep on time. My day-to-day is consistent, a race of "can I do X, Y, or Z before I go to sleep?" It's a lot. And that's not all. I got hurt today. Can you believe that? In fencing. My wrist. My opponent was for a flick hand touch, and they missed, and the side of the blade just popped my wrist super hard. The swollen lump directly below my thumb makes it hard to forget the moment. Let's jump back even further in the day, though. I celebrated the Chinese New Year, and it was great. Me and a small group in my class, as well as the prefesser all got together and awkwardly counted down. It was so genuinely delightful 谢谢度老师。
That's all from me tonight, though, my computer is about to die, and I still got laundrey to do.
goodnight friends,
Calvin Landreth
