Hello again freinds. Guess who's back!
MEEEEEEEE!
Yes, you heard that right, ya boy is back in the swing of it all. Class, clubs, freinds, homework, and all the other groovy and grotesque stuff that comes along with a college semester.
My day one was uneventful to a point. My first class was not until 1:15 (ECON), and so I just kinda bummed around till then.
Then the fun began. After stumbling around the labyrinth that is the Darla Moor building, I finally found the class. A big old-school lecture hall. Once that fits around 300 people. And guess who had a packed class? I have been lucky in my college so far to have a major that emphasizes small classrooms and an honors program that does the same, so I felt like a freshman in that place. A whole other vibe. But when the professor came in cracking some jokes, I knew it would be okay.
After eating a tight lunch, I waited around for class two of the day (RELG). That professor came in swinging, playing some funky fresh tunes and writing "if you are in this room, you belong in this room" before even opening his mouth.
I have a good feeling about this year.
And I have a good feeling about my roommate, even though we had a Walmart trip end in tragedy when neither of us had our cards and the Walmart scan-to-pay didn't work either.
Leaving with our heads between our legs, I told him that I would drop him off so he could eat (he had not eaten today), and I would go back for the stuff.
And we did, and that took a lot longer than I thought.
Primarily because UofSC hates people with a lot of passes.
Overall, an eventful day that left me with hope, a slight headache, and a lot of tooth pain.
Goodnight, my freinds,
Calvin landreth
P.S. My teeth hurt because of weird wisdom tooth things; USC didn't cause that one.
